A: Resumes submitted online automatically enter our database and are available for recruiters to review. A recruiter may contact you, if an open position matches your skills and experience. Your resume will remain active in our database and you will be considered for new positions as they open up. We recommend that you keep this resume up-to-date.

Q: How does the interview process work?
A: In most cases, you can expect to interview at least twice before an offer decision is made. You will be contacted by a Recruitment team member who will conduct a telephone screen, followed by a more in depth screen with a member from the hiring team, then an office interview with the Hiring Manager. We also run large-scale interview days where you might interview with different team members.

Q: Are BearingPoint employees required to travel?
A: Depending on the project and needs of the client, you may be required to travel. The company covers all costs for business travel.

Q: Will my performance be reviewed?
A: BearingPoint uses a management process that we believe to be an industry leader. When you first join the company, you will work with your performance manager to outline your team's goals and your personal goals for the next 6-12 months. You and your performance manager will have an opportunity to review your performance, track your progress and update your goals twice during the course of the year. You will have an opportunity to receive promotions and additional reviews during the January and June performance review cycles.

Q: Will I have opportunities for additional training and education?
A: At BearingPoint, we are committed to encouraging the professional growth of our employees. Key to achieving this goal is a strong education and training program. As a result, BearingPoint has entered into a groundbreaking agreement with YaleUniversity to collaborate on the education and training of BearingPoint employees. All employees have the opportunity to be selected to attend courses on Yale’s campus and be taught by Yale faculty and BearingPoint instructors. As part of our commitment to continuous learning, we strongly recommend all full-time employees participate in a minimum of 40 hours of online or classroom professional development courses per year.

Q: Will I have an opportunity to move to another practice or business unit within BearingPoint?
A: BearingPoint aims to create long-term relationships with our employees. This means allowing people to explore many opportunities across our global business. Typically, we expect you to remain in the role you were hired into for at least 12 months, before moving into a new group, practice or business unit. When the time is right, you will want to have a conversation with your performance manager about your interest in trying something new.
